43rd Annual Massing of the Colors
November 5, 2023

The 43rd annual Massing of the Colors hosted by the Ft Worth Chapter MOWW and the Ft Worth ISD JROTC was held on Sunday, 5 November at Birchman Baptist Church. The keynote speaker was Past Ft Worth Chapter Commander, COL Daniel Foust, USA Retired. Military music was once again provided by the Frontier Brigade Band. Cadets from the Ft Worth ISD JROTC Units lead the procession carrying the flags of the fifty states as well as their unit. In addition, more than thirty veteran and patriotic organizations, participated in the event. This included members of local American Legion posts, VFW posts and Disabled American Veterans chapters. In addition, members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the War of 1812, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Children of the Republic of Texas, Sons & Daughters of the Union War Veterans of the Civil War, and the Sons and Daughters of the Confederate Veterans of the Civil War. Thank you to COL Foust and Ft Worth Chapter Companions, LTC Paul Faidley, Cpt Jeffry Bouldin and Lt Lawrence Connelley and the Frontier Brigade Band for their support for this event.
